Renata Molinari in the Argentine winner artist who will undertake a fully-funded residency at Gasworks from April to June 2021. This residency is part of the exchange programme “Gasworks + URRA” (sixth edition, 2021), developed in partnership with URRA, who will also host the UK-based artist Andrew Lacon, in Buenos Aires in February and March 2021. Both opportunities are supported by Erica Roberts and in alliance with Fundación arteBA.

In the first edition of this alliance the winners of this residency program were Nicolás Gullotta and Christian Newby, in the second edition the winners were Adriana Minoliti and Laura Eldret, in the third edition the winners were Osías Yanov y Mariana Simnett, in the fourth edition the winners were Pablo Accinelli and Adriana Arroyo, and in the fifth recent edition the winners were Joaquín Aras and Stuart Middleton.

About Renata Molinari

Renata Molinari lives and works in Buenos Aires. She studied Physics in the UBA for two years and later gained a BFA from the UNA. She participated in UTDT’s XI Artists’ Program. Recent exhibitions include Propio Mundi, PM, Buenos Aires, Presentación en sociedad, Media, Buenos Aires, (both 2020) Banda Pop Metal, R202, Buenos Aires, Desgracia, La Verdi, Buenos Aires (both 2019), El Burro y la Moto, Call center(xEl Mirador), Buenos Aires, (2018), Informe sobre sombras, CCGSM, Buenos Aires (2017). Her works have been selected for Klemm Prize and Bienal de Arte Joven.
